The André Thomas Hall Museum welcomes you on Wednesdays from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 4pm - Saturdays from 10am to 12pm.
Discover an exhibition dedicated to the prehistory and history of the Earth presented in the André Thomas room, in the basement of the library. Carved silex, minerals, fossils... an exhibition that brings together several themes:
- The last reindeer hunters of the Upper Paleolithic through the discoveries made at Cepoy himself..
- The Neolithic "revolution" with the presentation of objects found in the north of the Yonne region
- Human uses of mineralogical resources through samples of varied origin
- An introduction to Paleontology thanks to two showcases dedicated to fossils, their formation and their usefulness in Geology.
