📍 Vieilles-Maisons-sur-Joudry
Eglise Saint-Pierre
Of the original 12th century building, only the chevet remains, the rest was rebuilt in the 17th century and redesigned in the 19th century by M. Fournier, an architect from Orléans.
The interior consists of eight bays: five for the nave, two for the choir and one for the first part of the sanctuary. They are all cross-vaulted.
The main altar is located in the Romanesque apse of the building, it is made of wood and the front is decorated with images of Christ surrounded by the evangelists.
