Exposition : Laurent Mangepapier & Work in Progress

Until August 30, Porte d'Amont welcomes Magdun painter Laurent Mangepapier for an immersive residency exhibition entitled Work in Progress.

Throughout the summer, this emblematic heritage site is transformed into a living studio open to the public. Visitors will be able to discover a selection of the artist?s old and recent works, as well as witness the live creation of a monumental work inspired by the history and imagination of Meung-sur-Loire.

Using his unique pointillist technique, Laurent Mangepapier gradually builds up an evolving painting, revealing shapes, symbols and characters as the weeks go by.

At the same time, several off-site artistic interventions will extend this presence in the town.
